Robin, We had the best time at your cabin! I loved everything about it - especially your "Naturalist's Mobile" hanging
on the wall, as well as all the turtle shells and the alligator skull. I too have those kinds of goodies at my house
(not alligator, but beaver skull) so I felt right at home. Having two bathrooms makes it so nice for two friends or two couples,
or a family. It was totally charming.
We did go out once on the river, but it was only to be able to say we paddled on the Suwannee. After driving 9
hours to get there, we were determined! We went upstream (hard work!) then floated back to your dock. Our big trip was on
the Ichetucknee, drifting and stopping, and then even paddling back upriver to see something again. We were out all
day long, from 10:30 - 5:00. It was very peaceful. We also hiked O'Leno St. Park on the River Trail, hiked around
the Iche State Park, and poked around the river's edge at the cabin. The Atamasco Lilies (my dad called them Easter Lilies)
were blooming in front of your neighbor's pond. We were enchanted! We also learned about the Sherman's Fox Squirrels
you have living nearby, and met the donks in the field with the cows. The Barred Owls were calling all around in
the early mornings - one of my favorite sounds. All in all, a terrific visit.
I would love to bring my husband down in the fall. He liked my photos, and agreed it looked like fun, so I'll see what
I can do and let you know!
I took many photographs and have attached a few here, but soon will post them on my photography site: http://www.hscorrell.smugmug.com/
Check them out. I'll put the gallery at the top of the list. If you see some you'd like to use on your
cabin website, let me know and I'll send it to you via email.
Thanks again, Robin! I look forward to getting back in touch to set another date!

We had an awesome time.
Our kids, age 14 and age 11 were not so sure about staying at a rural cabin for the entire weekend, but had a blast.
They enjoyed canoeing and the tire swing.
They had been to many of the springs in the Ocala Nat'l forest, but not that far north, and really enjoyed the tubing/swimming.
My husband had a great time and we met some of your neighbors. John Lynch helped us jumpstart our car, after we pumped
up the floats and left the key on, and Connie who used to be your neighbor farther down the road, who works at Nell's, said
to tell you hello.
The cabin is beautiful and the view magnificent. I read 3/4 of your book, too and regret that I did not finish
it. I started in Saturday afternoon, so did not have time to finish it, but enjoyed your tale of building the cabin.
Thank you for the stay and we may plan to go again in the future.
Thank you again.
